Original Research
Articles of 6,000–9,000 words that present new empirical findings. Preregistration of studies is encouraged to strengthen transparency and reproducibility.

 

Registered Reports (Stage 1/2)
Manuscripts submitted in two stages, with no fixed word cap beyond the requirement of methodological clarity and rigor.

 

Methods/Measurement Notes
Brief contributions of 3,000–5,000 words that introduce or refine methods, measures, or instrumentation relevant to embodied and cognitive research.

 

Systematic Reviews/Meta-analyses
Comprehensive reviews up to 10,000 words, compliant with PRISMA guidelines, synthesizing evidence across movement, cognition, and education.

 

Theoretical/Integrative Reviews
Essays of 5,000–8,000 words that integrate existing evidence and develop testable theoretical implications.

 

Short Reports
Concise manuscripts of up to 3,000 words, designed for rapid communication of rigorous findings or replications.

 

Practice & Design Papers
Applied papers of 4,000–6,000 words that evaluate educational or training implementations, with open materials shared to support reuse.

 

*All submissions must include a structured abstract (≤250 words) with the following sections: Background, Method, Results, and Conclusion. A data availability statement is required for every article.
